| The Euros suspect that the Israelis are avoiding peace. Perhaps today the are. They tried peace about 9 years ago and the Palestinans responded with war. But that`s the way it goes in this conflict. Should the US and Europe get Israel to freeze settlements and offer and 100% return to the `67 borders, including Jerusalem, then the Palestinians will be the ones who will be seen as avoiding peace because for them it is all about refugees and and end to Israel and at that point they will sense weakness. This struggle has been going on for about 100 years. It isn`t going to end based on the fantasy imaginings of some naive Europeans. |
