| Religion is the opiate of the masses, and has been a means of control and propaganda for Centuries. One only needs to look at Isreal and Iran present day, Germany circa 1930-40s, the Crusades, the Inquisition.More people have died in the name of religion than any other means. This theory is easy, for a reasonable person, to understand. Even today, fact can get twisted by gossip of an incident within 24 hrs. Imagine how something told over a few thusand years gets twisted. |
