The Egyptian scribe Iputer recorded the exodus events from an Egyptian point of view, complete with plagues and utter darkness. The reason no one associates the Iputer papyrus with the exodus is because it is incorrectly dated 600 years prior to the earliest possible exodus date. This is because all ancient history is dated according to Egyptian ostraca and that is tied to the pharoah list of one historian.

As for the Torah resembling old Indian myths, perhaps one should consider that the Vedas date to about the 1400 BC migrations out of Germany, according to the Indo-European words in the Rig Veda. Moses wrote the Torah as early as that and probably relied on earlier texts to compose Genesis. (consider the phase, "these are the generations of ..." which divide Genesis into 12 sections. Whats more, the Torah shows that all people on Earth had a common history and relationship to G-D prior to Abraham.
