| Perception is reality. If you can explain things away, then you conveniently can skirt around G-d`s role. However, our Sages explain that the "miraculous" is also "bederech hatevah", it is also part of natural events in certain cases. Bechirah chofshit, free choice, is predicated on exactly this type of thinking. If G-d`s role was obvious, we would not have free choice. Everyone would see it, as they did in Egypt.
