| Israel will have a confrontation either with Palestinians+Arabs or with the US. This is not true ! This is either misleading simplification or misreading history. This problem is NOT going to be resolved by a 2-State solution. This is exactly what happened in Iraq. By removing Saddam, Iraq was not turned into a democratic peace loving country. The religious divide is deep among the Islamic World. It is a permanent feature of confrontation through out history. That is what the policy makers in the US has ignored, & one of the reasons why the US failed to win the hearts & minds of the Islamic World. And Israel can`t be a solution for that. Erasing Israel from the map is not a solution to any problem wether in the mideast East or anywhere. If the US wants to adopt an even handed policy, that will be the best thing that can happen to every one in this conflict. Such conflict already exist between Shaiits-Sunni & the US was never blamed. Taking sides,helped no one !? |
