Go, Obama. Someone has to face this blockade to peace in the ME known as the Israeli government!
Short of a two-state solution, there will be one state--an Israeli state that will never, ever allow full citizenship to its arab population because it is wedded to a very undemocratic idea--a state controlled by Jews only. I am truly sorry this is true. Israel is good for the middle east in so many ways--it is just stuck in this horror of its own making--or maybe the Holocaust made it, I can`t tell--but it seems determined to build its own wholly controlled ghetto. Please, Israel, drop that illusion, and join the world. We really want you! |
