in Turkey Mr. Obama refuses to suggest that the Kurdish people - a people many times larger than the Palestinian Arabs and much, much older - does have the right to national self-determination and independence, alongside Turkey??
And why is it that there is no mention of yet another people whom the Turks managed to nearly wipe off the face of earth, the Armenians??
Yet, it is easy to talk about and push around a tiny people, perhaps 12 million worldwide, including slightly over five million in Israel, a country the size of Wales in the UK and New Jersey in the US, and to demand of its people to lower their guard and take risks in the face of those who have been attempting by way of full-scale wars as well as a war of attrition-by-terror that began in 1920 and has not ended yet.
