This is tendentious. the only thing that would "prove" that this is the place that it is reputed to be would be for written records to be found as well -- Anyway, the secular view of Israelite history is much more "Zioist" than the relgious view--since the wsecular view tends toward viewing the Israelites asw native Canaanites who evolved into the Jewish people. Professsor Zertal`s claims--including this one and the one on Mt. Eibal--are, without further concrete evidence--totally bogus. |
