Why is the Israeli government even thinking about giving back the Golan to Syria? Syria will not end its ties with or support of Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah and the weapons will still flow to Hezbollah from Syria. It baffles me how any sane government would even contemplate giving back strategic and vital territory to an evil dictatorship that is so virulently anti-Israel and anti-semitic.
The best way to neutralize Syria, Iran, and Hezbollah is to prioritize the Palestinian-Israeli issue and work towards solving that. Once that is solved the axis of evil of Syria, Hezbollah, and Iran will not have any legs to stand on. The best way to neuter them is to have a solution to the Palestinian issue. Israel should not waste its time with Assad. There were be no trade, no visits, and no end to the vilification of Israel by the Syrian government. There`s been a quiet peace on the border with Syria for more than forty years and Israel should not change that. |
