| Olmert?s legacy is one of a failed leader who led his people into disaster and death unecessarily of many of his countries youth. His continued corrupt and ineffectual conduct throughout his tenure as Jerusalem Mayor and elevated by default to prime Minister highlights the apathy and complacency of the Israeli electorate that allowed this self serving rogue to continue his position as a leader of his people. Olmert?s dishonest and incompetent behavior has no place in a democracy and in my opinion portrays the existing Israeli political system no better led than many banana republic states that we observe around the world. This was Olmert?s tainted legacy. |
