From here, that speaks well for the Israeli people. In the USA, there is little dissent about Israel`s rightist policies--AIPAC sees to that, as do the many US politicians in its well-heeled camp.
But israel is different, I must say. They discuss the issues, they are not all of one mind, and they often cringe at the viciousness of their own government`s response to the sad efforts of an occupied people to be heard--as do I.
Let us agree: Hamas does bad things. Let us agree: Israel does bad things. |
