| For over 60 years, the Arab League; his own predecessors and now the dour and sour Amr Moussa have perfected a policy of pot shots from the outside ...never accompanied by anything consequential. The Arab League has been nothing but the mouthpiece of failed policy, unwarranted arrogance and unfettered, stupid bombast. Principal victims of this useless organization are the Arabs of former mandatory Palestine, who have been far more the pawns of the League than the victims of Israel`s defeats of Arab aggression. What the perceptive and knowledgeable Palesinian, Ziyyadd Abu Zayyad, said 20 years ago rings ever true: "My Arab brothers remain committed to fighting to the last Palestinian". Now, Moussa does it again, offering loud criticism, do or die deadlines and nothing that could possibly suggest an iota of acceptance of any Arab responsibility for this godawful mess. The day Moussa and the League do that is the day the Peace Process will begin to succeed. |
