Sometimes I think the division in the Middle East really simply comes down not to "Jews and Arabs", but to a three way split of people (regardless of race or religion) : people who are prepared to try to whip the rest up to a frenzy to suit their own political ends, people who are prepared to be whipped , and, far too often ignored and ( hopefully in greater numbers than many imagine,) those who are increasingly not prepared to either do the whipping or be driven by it! |
