| It is always easy to find fault with a proposal, and calling it a fantasy helps explain why the world is frustrated that after 60 years, there is still ongoing conflict with Israel and the Arab world. Israel must come to terms with the reality that the support they have received for 60 years may be coming to an end without a meaningful resolution of the Palestinian issue. When Israel can come to terms with this reality, peace will be expanded beyond the current Jordan and Egypt peace zones. Yes, compromises and more compromises will have to be made, but future isolation and continued warfare is not a solution. There are no guarantees here, just hope and efforts to have support amongst those that can mobilize to support a peace. Israel for their own future and security, can not lose out on this opportunity now. |
