| For Israel, not only this right wing government, continuity between the occupied territories and East Jerusalem is vital and they will risk their relationship with Washingto to do it.Israel has consistently been lying about its settlement projects. But this is different due to US opposition. One can only hope that Abbas will withdraw from any negotiations with this government and demand that the US take action against the Israeli government for its violation. But this is clearly reason for the Palestinians to withdraw. Israel is simply not a trustworthy partner for any kind of negotiations. |
