Does anybody else find these "negotiations" to form a government embarrassing and not befitting a maturing nation?

You are a fine student, so here is one more Israeli lesson. Does any developed nation other than Israel had or will experience the outside influence the way Israel does? Does Bibi chasing after Livni & Barak because he loves them? No, it is because the major players & groups (yes the ones rejecting any pressure or influence on Israel whatsoever) are periodically `hinting` that Likud/Shas/Yisrael Beiteinu would be `probably` (sh,no, no, no we did implied anything) how should we say that, a bit undesirable. Remember, when EF Hutton talked, people listened. Bibi is conservative but well experienced. He would love to satisfy `worldwide curiosity in Israeli affairs & keep the shop whole`. That is where
`We agree to such and such provisions but only if such and such occurs and if it doesn`t, then we have to renegotiate`
comes in. Yes, you will not see it anywhere else.
