| Crossing the line is what this is about. This exhibit crosses the line for many Jews as the Torah is full of prohibitions against nudity, yet it does not at all. The intent of the prohibitions is to discourage "impure" thoughts. This exhibit has nothing to the do with such thoughts. Remember, there was a time when dissecting the human body was a hanging offense. Just imagine a world where such knowledge did not exist. A world where we are still bleeding people to release the bad humors. |
