The jewish Matriarch Rachel took the idols of Laban, but probably not in order to worship them, but to prevent that her father did so. If King Shlomo did tollerate other deities, whole Israel was punished for that.I wouldn`t like to see Israel punished again especially through some crazy arabs,just because some foolish soldier had a vision,as a result af a drug abuse,an illness oder just because the evil one sent him a vision in order to make him sin.
It doesen`t matter if there are only a few "pagans"- every jewish soul is endless precious to G-d,and the jews are responsible for each other. |
