I`m listening to the BBC domestic service via the Internet. British writer and novelist has just stated, as a fact, that Israeli soldiers were ordered to kill civilians.
So, this has gone from unproven allegations of a lack of professionalism, through an expose of tasteless tee shirts produced by Israeli teenage soldiers to today`s murky story of an ambiguous note that may or may not be genuine.
A mixture of sloppy and sensationalist journalism is being translated into irrefutable proof of premeditated war crimes by Israel`s enemies and the useful idiots that they manipulate. Haaretz, have you no shame? |
