| you are absolutely right. the press is trying to destroy the idf. soldiers are not required to sacrifice themselves to save the enemy, except in unusual circumstances. the soldiers were told to fire warning shots, then fire. that order is common military practice. some probably exceeded their orders, and those should be punished. however, hamas had threatened to kidnap soldiers and to turn gaza into a graveyard for the idf. the far left does not recognise the distinction between friend and foe. without such distinction, wars cannot be fought, let alone, won. best regards, cipora |
