| This is life as usual in Israel and the occupied territories. The IDF commits another war crime, there is a whole bunch of it in the news, then life goes on as always. There will be some halfhearted investigation by the IDF which will clear all its soldiers of any wrongdoing. Then the Arab world and some in the West and Israel will cry out but in the end nothing will happen. Settlements will continue to be built, Palestinian lives upooted and snuffed out, and the will be no peace. Until the USA and EU take a tough stand it will go on like this forever. |
