Denying what the soldiers say is for the good of the IDF and the country. I read that in almost all the comments so far. It`s inherent in the politicians statements from the start of the operation - "We are not making war on the civilians of Gaza, just Hamas." - Livni and Regev ad nauseam.
And now the talkbackers say "of course, its normal" or "of course, it was fully justified."
Why did Dreyfus end up at Devil`s Island - for the good of the Army.
The politicians and talkbackers are doing to these soldiers just what the French Generals did to Dreyfus, and for the same exact reason.
