Dear Mr. Levy what is so wonderful in your article is the pure fact that you can right such self criticism as an Israeli. As an IDF past soldier I always take pride in our high human morals. However at the same time we are only human and there will always be human Error. If a civilian is placed between you and a man out to kill you, you yourself Mr. Levy will shoot the civilian to kill that man. Riotousness is for the dead, and too many of our Jewish ancestors were led to their death living in this mind set. Unfortunately it is the gun we hold in our hands and not the Book.
And yes we are the most moral army in the world. |
