| As I recall from my history, ED\ast Jerusalem was only held completely by Jordan for 19 years from 1948 through1967. During that time, Jews and Christians were barred from their holy sites while synagogues and yeshivas were demolished. The tombstones from the Mount of Olives were used to build roads and latrines, with the primary one being at the area adjacent to the Western Wall. That is one reason why the Arabs should not have Jerusalem as their capital city. When Jews are allowed to return peacefully to Medina, from which Mohammed CBPH banished them or when Jews are allopwed to enter Mecca...that will be the time when the Arabs can claim Jerusalem as their capital city. And not until then. |
