Obiviously Ha`aretz has chosen the worst, the tragic. and these happen in all wars. War is no game. Having heard very different accounts I would say he has not heard nearly enough, which he will soon enough. Serious charges of course must be investigated but vandelism? Come on. This was a theatre of war where the boys were not sure they would come out alive. Considering that theatre there was very little vandelism. Amos Harel should be embedded with a unit and see first hand. It is far to easy to judge when you have not been there or did not face the same dangers. The IDF strives to be moral and save lives, it is a struggle which endangers it`s soldiers (besides the usual dangers and mistakes of war) and for which I am proud. Hamas does not do the same.

When you bring up messed up houses in a war situation, you laugh, becomes LIfe is what is more important, LIfe of a child , life of a soldier, you would prefer dead soldier for a clean house? No one.
