Lieberman as foreign minister would be a positive development for the Middle-East peace processes.
What would otherwise be a long tedious excruciating process of forcing Israel to comply with western democratic standards of behavior, a coalition in which Israel claims to be a part of, will accelerate with the recognition that political coercion is the only strategy the Israel will respond to. It must be the threat of economic ruin that will bring Israel to a just settlement with the Palestinians, nothing less will do. Netanyahu and Lieberman will help that process happen much sooner than later. Livni`s ambiguous rhetoric will just drag out the inevitable. |
