| The EU should not have given Israel any preferential treatment from the outset. Israel is not a European country, and its participation in the soccer European Nation`s Cup, and even with Eurovision, is an anomaly. In the event of the EU substantially paying for the restoration of Gaza, it should be made clear to Israel, that destruction of this infrastructure will be regarded as an attack on the EU and reparations will be required. |
