| All that matters to Israel is the security of Israel not the knock on effects of how it will affect the Saudis, Syria or any other state in the region. The US sure got their facts right on Saddam Hussains nuclear weapons progrm first during the 1991 Gulf War when they discovered that he was much closer to a nuke than anybody expected and he would have had a bomb years ago if it hand`t been for Israel. US intelegence wasn`t very clued up on Iraqi WMDS this time round either. Iran hasn`t been telling everybody everything about their nuclear plans & there are some sites they refused the IAEA access to. Should we take a chance on them getting nukes by 2010 or earlier before we do anything. There is also a greater risk of nuclear fallout if you wait for the reactors to come online before you bomb them so wait for them to come online you have twice the problem. Do it now before its to late we have given diplomacy years and failed fo years time to say change in tactic. |
