Stephen, is the fence inside 1949 Armstice Lines? Yes, Has terrorism from suicide bombers been reducded drastically as a result of this fence? Yes
Does Israel have a right to build this fence? Yes, Need it consider the emotions of Palestinians to how their backyard might look when installing what is a very defensive and in that sense peaceful move to protect its citizens? No. America is a building a wall as well are you protesting that?
Interestingly, if you read MAAN News they don`t mention the rocks they refer to it as a very peaceful protest. I am assuming then that Thorwing Rocks is not considered violent in Palestinian culture but rather a way of expressing peaceful emotions.
As well, Maan writes that this protest is a weekly occurence, I wonder if they`ve figured out yet that it is a secured zone and that the response is obligated once the rocks start to rain.
