Depends on when you ask. Ask a thousand years from now when the website is "down" and the newspapers have disintegrated, and the answer might be "no proof". Ultimately, we can never know. I wouldn`t discount what this scholar is saying- this is a case where one theory is as good as any other if looked at objectively.
