His Jewish connections are how he duped Jewish Charities. I imagine all con men use their connections in whatever community they belong.
I would think anti-semites will find a way to hate Jews no matter what Jews do: a Jew cure aids? they hate Jews, Jews solve the financial crisis, they hate Jews, a Jew save their mom from a burning building? they hate Jews, on and on. Madoff cannot add anything to that hatred as it is at 100% already. It may provide rhetorical fodder, but they manufacture that without end, anyway.
If Madoff were Irish Catholic he would still be despised. Or am I a naive goy? |
