Correct me if I`m wrong, but Israel has already recognized another Palestinian state, along with almost two dozen other Arab states. It also signed agreements with the factions in charge of J&S right now. As far as I know, most Israeli parties are in favor of another two-state solution (including Kadima and Yisrael Beteinu).
What the heck is this recognition anyway? Let`s say Wahabistan or Hamastan refuses to recognize the Earth as round. Who cares?
Re US Aid: a lot of people forget when the aid started. What did Israel give up for this aid? Who else got paid? Who was the US President who came up with the plan? (Hint: Israel gave up 2/3rds of it`s territory in return for that aid.) |
