It may sound as an empty slogan, but the immense majority of Israelis have shown the return of Corporal Gilad Shalit is their top priority. How can civilians suppport and stand behind what they feel? Should six million Israelis camp along with Noam and Aviva? Should they parade, march and protest? They feel to do such a thing, and demand the release of terrorist masterminds, whose fate would be the same as thos released from US Guantánamo Bay Base, is hard to midlessly demand.
Israelis would wish to be pertmitted to act out solely on their hearts, as Gilad`s parents naturally do.
I join them. Release the terrorists and bring Gilad home. His life is worth everything. |
