So Hamas can form a unity govt with Fatah, but so long as the CABINET consists of apparachiks then that`s A-OK as far as the Americans are concerned.
That they might only be front men taking their orders from Hamas - and dependent upon Hamas for their position - is immaterial.
Doesn`t this remind people of Lebanon, and Hezbollah`s veto over the deliberations of the Siniora cabinet? |
