I am not a Catholic, but I am a student of the Third Reich, and it should be pointed out that the Catholic Church caused considerably more difficulty for Hitler and engaged in considerably more opposition than any other major religious group. On one occasion, a denunciation of the Nazis was even smuggled to every Church in Germany and read out simultaneously on the same Sunday.
