Why did Marcus have to speak about two `failed wars` launched by this Administration? There is all the difference in the world between the failed operation with Hizbollah, and the military successful if politically questionable operation against the missiles of Gaza.
Secondly, there is truth about the senselessness of the babbling. But that does not mean that a nuclear Iran is something which should not be prevented, if possible. It may already be too late, or it may not be. The whole cost of the operation is not clear.
Bush promised to stop Iran and did not. We do not know what Obama will do. The conditions for Israel`s doing anything have worsened considerably. Perhaps Sheetrit is right and it would be disastrous to act against Iran. But perhaps it will be disastrous to not act.
I do not envy the kinds of decisions Prime Minister Netanyahu will have to make. |
