| Convenient to overlook that due to an ongoing drought, and their 19th century farming practices, the Arabs of Gaza and the West bank depend heavily on water piped from Israeli valleys, to which they have no legal entitlement whatsoever. (Actually, most of W. Bank Arabs` water is stolen by Jordan for the "East Bank" via the East Ghor canal which diverts it from the Yarmuck tributary of the Jordan river, which BTW does not flow uphill to the W. Bank farms, anyway). Payment in Arab rock and sand (which Israel has plenty of) for water (which the Arabs lack) is a more than fair trade. International community doesn`t like it, fine - Israel will cut off water supply to Arab parasites and dig their own Israeli gravel with Israeli workers instead of giving Arab quarry workers the jobs and the business. Geez, the nerve! The idiocy! Really grasping at straws to find fault with Israel policy. |
