| ...that the USA can say they will work with any Israeli govt, and yet not one day ago Haaretz was reporting that the US govt will not - absolutely will not - recognize any PA unity govt if it doesn`t have Fayyad as the Prime Minister. Even though Fayyad`s Prime Ministership has NEVER been confirmed in the Pal Legistative Council. Not. Ever. There can be no disguising that smell; it`s called "hypocrisy", and it`s coming from a country that has the hide to pretend that it is an "honest broker". There *is* going to be a PA Unity Govt, and very soon. By all means let the Israelis choose their own leaders, but grant that same privilege to the Palestinians. Coz that choice isn`t up to The Ghost of Elliot Abrams. |
