Israel grew up in the terrible shadow of the holocaust and the Arab invasion of 1948, but that`s all a LONG time ago. Israel is now the regional military superpower and has to accept there`s a world of risk out there. Iran`s nothing special.
I grew up next to a major NATO base,aware I would probably die in the first few moments of a nuclear war with the Warsaw Pact. As an adult I have worked in war zones and come close to being killed. Now, I am getting older and am at risk from heart attacks, strokes etc. etc. We`re all going to die Bat Yam. None of us will live forever, but it won`t be Iranian nukes that kill us. It`ll be all the boring stuff like heart attacks or car crashes. But the politicians aren`t intersted in making you panic about those, because there aren`t any votes in it. |
