The home demolition policy is racist. It is directed only at Palestinians and that only at those who have committed no offense. Why not destroy homes of members of the Israeli organized crime? Why not destroy the homes of drunk drivers who kill? That would deter... Deterrence, as the State would argue is behind the reasoning of home demolitions but the State cannot do what ever it wants even if it thinks it has a good reason to do so... Part of the Israeli problem is that we are fatally afflicted with myopia. We are so short sighted that we see only revenge and not Justice...everyone talks about home demolitions of Palestinians with no problem yet what about the thousand upon thousands of criminally built Israeli homes in the OPT (West Bank) in the settlements... Built illegally for Israelis who are living there illegally in direct violation of international humanitarian law...
