What do you mean: the world is still not aware?!?! This became world-wide news shortly after the war with the Nazis ended in May 1945. Victims` hair, gold teeth, etc. I was here then, I am still here now. I, and many others, do remember!
So later generations discount it. That is the way it goes, Akiva. Details are consigned to the catagory of ancient history; and many are forgotten. No matter how much you care, people will forget as time goes on. The atrocities of the Holocaust will become diluted with history more relevant to the lives of people living today.. Sorry if you don`t like it to fade away; but that is the way the cookie crumbles. The time is fast approaching when people will wonder if the Holocaust details are not exaggerations of someone`s overvivid imagination. But those of us who were here then DO remember. Please do not insult us with your "still not aware" nonsense. |
