Please don`t feel guilty Anna. Germany was a victim of it`s leaders in World War 2. What happened to the Jews was terrible beyond belief
but the world should know and understand that a lot of good German people died too. Many Germans did not back Hitler or only did so in the beginning.
They did not have the freedom to speak out and the Jews did not have the arms to defend themselves. It`s just as wrong for people to blame Germans today for the death of the Jews as it is for people who call themselves Christians to blame the Jews for the death of Jesus. The important thing is for people to remember, and like you....to care. Thank you Anna. |
