City of Nazareth has been chosen by the Vatican for the Pope?s mass prayer as reported after a visiting Vatican delegation met with Haifa and Nazareth representatives.- It is assumed, but not declared, that this decision was arrived in agreement with Israel government? -
The religious connection to Nazareth definitely exists.- Here another problem is to be considered, namely Annunciation church with its limited capacity. No nearby / connected open space to provide for thousands of pilgrims to participate in the Popes exists. In addition the necessary arrangement for a Pope?s public prayers in Nazareth presents a logistic, security problem in its confined city area. |
