| A few years ago, I helped a young lady convert. When this started, I thought she was already a Jew, because she understood our history, and spoke the American version of Hebrew. Turned out she was taking lessons from a rabbi 3 times a week. Sadly, for me, she felt more of a Jew, and practiced more than myself. No, she does not have our bloodline, but her kids will. The marriage very well done, and very traditional. It was my friend who was tired of Christianty as it did not fullfill her spiritual needs. Shortly after, she got pregnant, and left the job. She told her husband that she wanted her kids to be born in Israel. If Lilo wantssss to convert, for whatever reason, it is her business, Of course, I helped her with Hebrew, and I really, truely, believe she will make it. |
