| And frankly, I`m not sure that`s such a bad thing. For one, it`ll resolve some of their insecurities about their ability to defend themselves against regime change, which should actually reduce some of their skirmishes with America. For another, it`ll provide a deterrent against any truly abhorrent behavior by Israel, along the lines of ethnic cleansing. And, finally, Iran actually has a relatively moderate younger generation, who will likely be much more receptive to joining the world community as international pressures ease. |
