| The challenges to this will come primarily from the Kahane People on our side and the Lebanese Shi`ites, the PFLP, Hamas and the Iranians on the other side. But you know, the cultural flashpoints are very different in the East than here in the West. The People over here are very tolerant and Irreverance is treated like just something stupid. You either laugh or ignore it. However, in the East, Irreverance is treated as a cause for war. In the East, men openly brandish weapons and Anti-Semitism is a cultural norm. I don`t think these things are going to change in my lifetime. But anyway, good luck on this. No reason why American Jews and Muslims over here can`t get along. |
