I`m Swedish, living about sixtyfive kilometres from Malmö but I`m going to Malmö next weekend to demonstrate against the match. Just as in the case with apartheid South Africa, Israel should be barred from the international community until it learns to behave in a civilized humane manner and respects civil and human rights. We would do the same thing, had it been Zimbabwe playing against Sweden. Does that make us anti-zimbabweans?
Don`t be surprised that the world puts Israel in the same category as other criminal and rogue states, such as Zimbabwe or North Korea. If you don`t want to be a criminal state, stop your crimes. Don`t try to make us stop calling you what you are. Abide by international law, just like any other country. And recognize Palestinians right to a free state of their own.
By the way, the article depicts it as if it`s a leftist phenomena. That is far from the truth. I vote right, and always have. We`re all against crimes on humanity, whether we`re left or right. |
