Why should Israel fear full sovereignty for the Palestinians? Of course they will have control of their airpace and borders, and of course they will have a defense force like any other nation. Quit kvetching, already.
It`s such a sorry tactic to see politicians fan the fears of the electorate. When will you finally decide to live and let live in the "Holy Land?" You`re all disgracing the religions you claim to love.
Israel should be held to exactly the same standard as Hamas: renounce violence, honor past agreements, and recognize the right of Palestinians to a sovereign state of their own. You can`t demand of the other what you are unwilling to do yourself. |
