Avigdor Lieberman is a good example of the person who lacks the ability to philosophically see two sides of an issue in such a way as to to determine any reasonable conclusion. In his case, I don`t know why he doesn`t realize that Arabs were in Palestine before the European Jews "returned" (not all necessarily have Middle Eastern roots even). But then he tries to use the United States as an example for his "loyalty oath" posture.
Mexicans who survived the takeover of their land by the United States in the phony Mexican War of conquest never had to recieve a "green card" (except in instances in which illegal racist "sweeps" of brown people sent actual US citizens to Mexico simply stereotyping them as "Mexican." The Mexicans in Brownsville, Texas do not have to take a loyalty oath of any kind because they are US citizens--just as Israeli Arabs presumably are citizens of Israel--even in their obvious second-class status.
Lieberman knows the West Bank settlemens are illegal. |
