Judah, I`m not sure how my flat in Tel-Aviv (rented) would help secure the benefits which the Saudi Initiative or even just the breaking of the Iran-Syria-Hezbollah & Hamas chain (and subsequent peace with Lebanon and massive pressure on the Palestinians) would bring. This does not necessarily reflect my opinion, which I didn`t give earlier, but merely a statement of fact.

nb. As far as I recall, while Zionism is fundamentally based on the re-establishment of Jewish sovereignty in our ancient land, the existence or otherwise of actual ancient settlements never was part of the attraction, not politically and not philosophically. Autonomy, a solution the Jewish Question and the creation of a the New Jew were far more important for most. But perhaps people in your beautiful part of the country are more Zionist than down here? That would be ironic though when you recall that over recent years Tel-Aviv has suffered more terror attacks than the rest of the county combined.
